On our drive back home from our family hike, I took a photo from the car window. I took many photos, this one was asking to become a painting.

As I was painting it, my 10 year old son came to see it when it was about half way done, and said, "Mom, are the mountains really blue?" I showed him the photo and he said, "Wow they really are blue!" I told him, "If you look closely they have many different colors."

Some places are just postcard worthy, this one was painting worthy.
