I take a photo with a camera and use my own photos as a reference for the nature paintings. I do not try to make them exactly the same, in fact quite often they look very different then the actual photograph. I add in my own imagination and creativity, so it is just an impression of the image. 

Every place is very memorable to me, the views are breathtaking, the sound of the rushing river in the distance is so soothing. The cool California breeze is so pleasant. I try to capture the emotion that nature brings… on to you.
