I am a self-taught/self-representing artist.
I give all credit to God for giving me this wonderful gift of painting.
My desire is to put beauty out into the world and convey my passion on to a canvas.
Not one day is passed without new ideas for a painting, nature inspires me particularly mountains, ocean, land and sky.
The Collections
I use photos as a reference for my nature paintings most of the time. I took some photos from a hike in Kings Canyon National Park. This trip was very memorable, the views were breathtaking, the sound of the rushing river in the distance was so soothing. I highly recommend hiking there. I think you'll be captivated.
I also have some paintings in my collections taken off of my own deck. Pleasant Valley is my backyard. Our views look out into the Sierra Mountains, it is a great honor and a blessing to have such beauty surrounding me. Being surrounded by nature and inspiration right outside my doorstep, is a treasure that brings endless amounts of peace and joy from the chaos of everyday life.
